SingPost launches Baby Animals stamp series

SINGAPORE, 28 June 2017 –Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) has released a new set of stamps that seeks to encourage positive social values among children with illustrations of adorable baby animals.

The 1st Local stamp depicts a cat hugging a dog, demonstrating how people may appreciate and love those different from them. The 70¢ stamp shows two rabbits watering the earth to convey the importance of working together to care for nature and conserve the environment. The bears sharing a pot of honey on the 90¢ stamp underscore the need for inclusivity in a multi-racial society, while on the $1.30 stamp, the duck giving a flower to another duck is a call for kindness and graciousness.

The Baby Animals stamp set comes in four denominations: 1st local, 70¢, 90¢, and $1.30. Pre-cancelled First Day Covers affixed with the complete set of stamps are available at $4.15.

The stamps will go on sale from today at all post offices and the Singapore Philatelic Museum. They may also be purchased online at
